LISTENING TO MULTIPLE MONITORS

Some professional users have trained themselves to monitor multiple scanners.  For example, newsroom assignment desk editors may work in an environment with several scanners tuned to different agencies.  This isn't for everyone, but if you want to really experience the information overload that Rangecast makes possible, you can run TWO Rangecast players at the same time, with audio directed to different speaker devices.

With the Rangecast players on this page, one speaker will present police department audio, and the other will present fire department audio.  Of course, the content you send to each speaker device is completely arbitrary, and you could just as easily separate content by region.

For demonstration purposes, the audio from both players is directed here to your system's default speaker.  In practical use, this feature requires two speaker devices (not merely a left/right pair), and some configuration to tell the players how your speakers are identified.
