NEWS GATHERING

There's no better way to manage your Assignment Desk or City Desk bank of scanners than by controlling them with the Rangecast System. Rangecast can actually consolidate both local scanners at the Assignment Desk and remote scanners set-up at outlying areas which cannot be received from your offices.

An unlimited number of scanners can be accessed in this way.

Rangecast is now used at major TV and radio stations, traffic reporting services and newspapers all over the U.S. including at WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio, NBC-TV in Hartford and Gatehouse Media in Boston and throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Selected Rangecast content can also be presented on media public websites, for example at these local newspapers.  This service has been proven to be popular with readers.

Rangecast and Scanner Master provide a turnkey solution including scanners, scanner programming, antennas, PCs, site analyses, system installation, testing and training.

The Rangecast player on this page presents police and fire radio traffic from eastern Massachusetts delayed by one hour.
