[FAQ-1341] Error message: Not Valid Hub (Code 69)

OVERVIEW

The name entered into the scanners as the originating hub (where recorded audio is reported) is not recognized by the Rangecast system. This may be due to a typo when configuring the scanners (entering the wrong name), or the hub may have been disconnected from service.


METHOD

Press the Rangecast icon on the desktop, then Configuration, and wait for the hardware scan to complete.

Carefully check the hub name entered for each scanner (including case), and see if the names entered exactly match the name of your originating hub. If not, correct the name, press Save, and relaunch Rangecast.

If the names are correct, contact your customer representative and ask about the status of your account. If your account has not been operational for an extended time, some technical setup may be required on the Rangecast side to re-establish service, please allow for at least one or two business days for this work to be completed.
