OVERVIEW

Rangecast uses Anydesk as a remote desktop application, and is essential for software installation and maintenance. There are two options for how to install Anydesk, depending on whether or not the PC already has Rangecast software installed.

METHOD

If Rangecast is already installed on the PC:

Anydesk is remote desktop software used by Rangecast to access PCs. If Anydesk must be installed (or re-installed) on a PC where Rangecast software has already been loaded, you can use an Anydesk install script that is included as part of the Rangecast software.



If Rangecast is NOT installed on the PC:

Anydesk is remote desktop software used by Rangecast to access PCs. When a fresh PC (no Rangecast software is installed), the first step is installing Anydesk, so that Rangecast can then access the PC to install software and configure/verify various aspects of the Windows environment.
