The RCX interface is a small black box, without any controls, that mounts directly on the back of a Uniden scanner. It provides the USB interface for data and audio communications between the scanner and a PC.

Very rarely, certain PCs may be incompatible with the RCX sound channel, and audio can be severely distorted.
